  • University Libraries subscribes to many online databases. To choose the one that's right for your research needs, use the subject list or the information button.
  • You must use a database to search for articles in magazines and journals. You cannot use a library catalog like CardCat.
  • Academic Search Premier is a good starting place for most research topics because it contains scholarly and popular articles in a variety of subject areas.
  • Remember to combine your terms using Boolean operators when appropriate.
